polar express day
For half of the world today is Nov. 2. For the other half of the world today is Nov. 1. For our family today is POLAR EXPRESS DAY. Today is the first day that Tyler is allowed to watch his favorite movie in the WHOLE WORLD. And he will watch it -- mostly his favorite scenes -- over and over and over again every day until Jan. 1 when Mommy makes him put it away until next year's Polar Express Day.

LOL... that's one of Taylor & Reilly's favorites too. Although, they're still young enough that they sort of forget about it until I break it out just after Thanksgiving. ;) But then we're riding that train clear 'til New Years!
Our kids ask all year long to watch Polar Express, but we have our own "Polar Express day" to borrow your expression, Black Friday. We watch it as a family and drink hot chocolate, provided we are all able to watch it together. If not the first available night afterwards. They can watch it through December but we all sit and watch it again on Christmas Eve before bed and afterwards the kids put out cookies and milk for Santa Claus.
